Getting Started
How do I create a goal?
Go to the Tracking tab and tap the + button in the top right corner. You can set a title, target value, and choose who to share it with.
How do partnerships work?
Partnerships allow you to share goals with a friend and track progress together. You can invite friends to join a partnership from their profile or the Groups tab.
Managing Content
How do I edit or delete a goal?
Tap on any goal in the Tracking tab. In the goal detail view, tap the Edit button in the top right corner. You'll find the option to update details or delete the goal there.
Can I delete a post?
Yes. Find the post in your feed, swipe left on it, and tap the red Delete button. This will permanently remove the post from all shared feeds.
Privacy & Visibility
Who can see my profile?
Your profile (name, bio, and stats) is public to the Milestones community to encourage support. However, your specific goals and posts depend on your sharing settings.
Who can see my posts?
Posts shared to My Supporters are visible to anyone who follows you. Posts shared to a Partnership or Group are only visible to members of that specific group.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with you (“Personal Information”), including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, profile picture, and bio.
- User Content: Goals, progress logs, posts, comments, and media (images, video, audio) you upload.
- Device Information: Hardware model, OS version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
- Usage Information: Log data about your activity in the app, including features used and interactions with other users.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for purposes including:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the Milestones service.
- Facilitating connections between partners, groups, and supporters.
- Sending technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
- Personalizing your experience and providing content tailored to your goals.
- Protecting against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following contexts:
- With Your Consent: When you share a goal or post with a partner, group, or My Supporters, you are directing us to share that content with those specific users.
- Service Providers: With third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (for example, database hosting and analytics).
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
- Protection of Rights: To protect the rights, property, and safety of Milestones, our users, or others.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your information, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain data.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including:
- Access: The right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: The right to request corrections to inaccurate data.
- Deletion: The right to request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
- Opt-Out: The right to manage your notification and visibility preferences via the Settings menu in the app.
7. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state or country where the data protection laws may differ. By using Milestones, you consent to this transfer.
8. Children’s Privacy
Milestones is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the “Last updated” date above.
