Using Nudge

Why can't I spin the wheel again?

To encourage intentional, high-quality connections, Nudge limits spins to once every 72 hours. A glowing timer will display exactly how many hours, minutes, and seconds remain until your next spin.

What are Contact Pools?

Contact Pools allow you to categorize your circles (e.g. Friends, Networking, family). Use the floating capsule button at the bottom of the My People tab to switch pools, rename them, or create new ones.

How do Wildcard slots work?

There are always two Wildcard wedges on the spinner, strategically separated so they are never side-by-side. Landing on a Wildcard randomly selects a contact from your pool, giving everyone an equal chance.

How is my spin history tracked?

Spins are recorded in the History list (tap the clock icon in the top-left). You can inspect a contact's card or trigger direct calls by clicking their name in the History log.

Privacy Policy

1. 100% Local Storage

Nudge is built with user privacy as our core priority. We do not require or support user accounts. All of your contact information, custom pools, and spin history are stored locally in a private database on your physical iOS device. We do not run any servers, databases, or analytics engines in the cloud.

2. iOS Contacts Permissions

To populate your wheel and contact lists, Nudge requests read-only access to your iOS Contacts database. This data is only used to import selected names, phone numbers, emails, and profile pictures into your local app database. We never modify your system contacts.

3. No External Data Sharing

Nudge never uploads, transmits, or shares your contact details, spin events, or messages to third parties. When launching direct call (tel://), SMS (sms://), or Mail (mailto://) actions, the communication is managed entirely by Apple's secure sandboxed native apps.

4. Security & Potential Risks

Since all data is stored on-device, your information is protected by iOS's built-in sandbox security. Potential risks include:

We recommend keeping your iPhone updated and protected by FaceID/Passcode.
